Matryoshka's R&D activities led to development of two innovative products in the food and beverage industry. In 2018 Matryoshka designed wine ice-cream, a unique ice-cream that will disrupt two industries traditional ice-cream industry and wine industry. At the end of 2019 the company developed a second innovative product, multi-functional natural food additive from grape marc waste. At the moment, the company is building its' own manufacturing plant in order to be able to commercialize both products. WICE - new, innovative way of wine consumption, in the form of ice-cream. The wine ice-cream is with up to 13.5% wine alcohol per 150ml unit, which is equivalent as drinking a glass of wine.
The multifunctional food additive has been designed based on the circular economy principle. Our innovation is in the unique technological process that results in natural multifunctional additive which will be used as food coloring, antioxidant and preservative ingredient.
